I was in honors art in elementary school, and played viola in the orchestra from middle school through college. Later I found an instructor willing to teach a viola player fiddle music. I took piano lessons for about ten years and also own a hammer dulcimer. When I graduated high school my English teacher told me that when I became a writer she'd become my agent. One of these days I'll follow up on one of these artistic endeavors.
